Find Articles

One way to get articles (scholarly, news, trade, and popular) is by searching a database. Emmaus has a number of databases through two platforms, EBSCOhost and Gale. This page will walk you through how to find articles in both platforms.

When you connect with EBSCOhost, select the first service listed, EBSCOhost web.

After this, you can select which databases you want to search. The database list includes short descriptions about the type of information in each database.

Credo Reference
EBSCO Open Dissertations
Google Scholar
Listing of Open Access Databases
Open Access Digital Theological Library
Theological Research Exchange Network

Click here to access Gale databases.

Once here, you can select a specific database to search depending on your subject, or you can use the Power Search option to search all databases.

If you are searching the databases while off campus, you will need to enter a password. If you do not know what the password is, contact Mr. Rush.
